Not really. Your HP comes with a 300w psu. For a gtx970 you should be looking closer to 520-550w.
The G640 is a dual core, 2 thread, 2.8GHz cpu. That's a little on the weak side for a gpu like the 970. Best best would be plain gtx1050.
