Speccy is showing that my DRAM frequency is 366.8 mhz

On the other hand it tells me that both of my DDR2 RAM's are of 400mhz.

Can someone explain what is going on, and do i have to do something for the RAM.

Solution
Basically it`s just two different software programs reading the speed the ram is running at slightly wrong.

You memory kits, or on the memory stick it`s self probably state the DDR2 memory you have runs at 800Mhz.

What you are seeing quoted for the speed of the memory since it is double data rate.

Is the single value of either the read or write channel speed.
With DDR 2 rated memory you always have to times the value shown in such programs by 2

So DDR2 memory @ 400Mhz x 2 = 800 Mhz speed effective.

This is because with DDR memory a read and a write command can be sent at the exact same time as each other.
Unlike non DDR type memory where it could only do a read of data, then the writing of data.
At any given time DSS007.
