Which CPU do you have? My suggestion would be something from the Noctua's low profile (L series) line but it depends on the TDP of your CPU.

I paired my i5 6500 with this http://noctua.at/en/products/cpu-cooler-retail/nh-l9i and it's dead silent (you literally can't hear it) and it keeps the CPU in decent temps even at max load. But this one is rated for maximum of 65 watts TDP.

This one http://noctua.at/en/products/cpu-cooler-retail/nh-l9x65 is rated for 84 watts TDP.

Note that low profile coolers aren't designed for overclocking. You can check your CPU's TDP in the spec sheet. If you have anything from AMD i doubt you'll fit a low profile cooler that will work but if you're in team blue and not overclocking, you won't have...

If you have anything from AMD i doubt you'll fit a low profile cooler that will work but if you're in team blue and not overclocking, you won't have problems with these two models above. Also a big plus for them is their low price. I payed the L9i 45 euros in Croatia (25% tax)
