Hello, I'm having this problem for almost an year now. I called technicians to fix my network three times. One replaced my modem, and the other two just check for problems and they found none.

I asked them why do I get packet loss at night, all they said was the internet has to be shared with the neighbors and at night, more people would be using it causing me packet loss. They said they wouldn't give all the data to me..? Like wtf? I'm having 5-20% packet loss every 100 packets which happens every night. I have no idea how to fix it. Anyone can help me? Thanks

What at least they were honest many ISP try to cover up the fact that they have oversold the internet. What can you expect if the connection coming into your neighborhood is 300m and they sold you and 100 other people the same 300 meg. Sure if nobody else tries to use it you might get 300m but when all 100 people are trying to use it you get much less.

How could you fix this it is like complaining that the roads are packed with cars when everyone is going to work at the same time. If you are rich you get your private helicopter to fly you to work. You can do the same thing and pay to have a commercial internet connection put into your house that has a guaranteed transfer rate...at least to the main ISP office.

Well that's disappointing. I'll be stuck with packet loss until I could afford to do something about it. The internet is so bad at night, I cannot even run any online games. It starts at 6pm to around 4 am in the morning every single day.. and that's the only time when I'm free.. Is this even normal?
