Iam playing games at 1080p max settings.my processor is i7 4790(its load temparature 65c) and graphics card is gtx 1060(the load temparature is 73).iam using nvidia inspector to cap fps to 60. I want to play games at ultra settings.does it generate more workload and heat on gpu and processor?

Yes, when you place more processing needs on the card, unless it's already working as hard as it can, it will heat up.

You said, though, that you're playing games at Max settings?

Max means the highest settings possible - which would include ultra, considering it's higher than high - which is why I was confused.

I must repeat, though, when you place more processing needs on the card, unless it's already working as hard as it can, it will heat up.
