Okay pretty new to this guys so a bit of patience maybe required!
I've built my own pc which is fine, and with spare parts over the years I've built a separate one for my dad to use. It's been working fine for around a couple of years.. the other day a loud pop/bang happened and a burning smell could be smelt if you leaned in.. I've read previous posts about this, and most suggest replacing the psu and all is well.. however having a fair amount of spare parts luckily I had another psu I could put it, so I did and for the next 24 hours all was well.. but then and even louder bang, and it actually knocked out the electricity in the house like a power surge or something. Now both psu's are dead. I don't want to go out and buy another if the problem lies elsewhere.. any ideas and suggestions? Thanks guys
