I have been monitoring wifi signals around my home with Acrylic Wifi software. I noticed that my signals show 2 stars for network security where some of the offices around here have 5 stars for their level of security. I have Linksys smartwifi with WPA2 and my router is only accessible by Ethernet cable. What other measures do I need to bring my security up where it should be?

Hard to say how that software is rating things. In general WPA2 is considered impossible to crack. Now if you have WPS enabled that is a massive security issue that is turned on by default on many routers.

Now if you mean actual business offices the software may consider enterprise mode more secure. It sorta is and isn't. If you have 100 people using the same network a preshared key/password is always at risk of being exposed. Using enterprise mode every person has their own.

If only 1 person knows the key/password the normal WPA2 wireless is just as secure. It is not the technology or encryption that is better in enterprise mode it is the problem with the people using it.
