Ok guys so I bought a pc a while ago, and now i want to upgrade my graphics card. I have NVIDIA GeForce GT 620 right now, and I cant play any of newer games on decent FPS. So I decided to upgrade to ASUS nVidia GeForce GTX750 Ti 2GB GDDR5 128bit. Now i was wondering if that would be good to do, and will it work well with my pc.

I have:

Gigabyte H61MA-D2V Motherboard

Intel Core i5 3330 Processor

2x 4GB DDR3 RAM

Dont be mad if I wrote anything wrong I dont know much about this. Also English is not my first language so i might have misspelled something. Thanks.

Edit:
Also i have 350W PowerSupply

It's a bit of an upgrade over a 620, but it's probably not a good return for the cost (unless you're getting it really cheap).

Look to a GTX 1050/1050TI if you can, or an RX460. Likely similar in cost (new), and much better performers. A 750TI was near obsolete soon after launch (as a 950 was a better price to performance ratio).

As an FYI, wouldn't have known English wasn't your first language from your post.

It's fine, buy it.
By the way, GTX 750 != GTX 750 TI

Best price/performance under 100€ would be the R9 280x.

Where did 100EUR come into it antoine?

FWIW, a 280X/380 are very close in performance to a 1050TI in most games. Considering the 1050TI can be had for around $130 new, and a 280X would be used to be close to that pricepoint................. and add the fact that a 280X is a 250W card, and the OP has a 350W PSU (likely generic), the 280X would be a pretty poor option.

Similar performance, cheaper price (new), and will actually run on the OP's PSU = 1050TI.

It's an old, power hungry (in my opinion it's ok) card so it has a low price tag. Appart from the power consumption, this card is perfect : it supports DX12, runs newer games just fine...
For the PSU, well, his i5 does not consumes a lot so I think it will be fine. (don't trust me i'm a disaster in terms of safety)

Well thank you guys for responding and helping me. Well GTX 1050 got my attention, but it is around 200‎€, while GTX 750 is around 140‎€... So ill think about adding 60‎€, because 1050 just seems much better... Ty guys once again :)

I know a 280X can be found for similar to a new 1050TI..... but why would you when a 1050TI performs very much the same, and won't require a PSU upgrade?

No, his PSU will not be 'fine'. Categorically, no. OP has a 77W CPU, call it ~100W for the balance....... Even assuming the 350W is good quality*, can reliably provide that and has the appropriate connectors, that's still not powerful enough to power a 280X.

There's no guarantee an undefined 350W PSU is good quality (I'd suspect it's not at all), it won't have the appropriate connectors and won't provide appropriate power to run a 280X.

So, a 280X used (no warranty) + a new PSU is substantially more outlay and power consumption vs a 1050TI, for very comparable performance?

A 750TI for 140EUR stirkes me as a horrible deal, even when considering a 1050 etc.

Admittedly, using Germany ..... a new Palit 1050TI is ~150EUR

I'm terrible at giving tips for choosing the right PSU. I've tried to run a system on a "DIY passive cooled PSU", my main PC have a 240W PSU for a GTX 1050 ti and a Phenom II X4 B95, i've washed a PSU with water...

Maybe you should consider no longer providing PSU advice since you've been called out twice today for providing dangerous advice.

Just a tip.

FSP range from 'ok' to some of the best PSUs out there. This one would fall into the 'ok' category IMO.

More than capable for a 1050TI or similar though.
