i7 3770 vs i5 4590

so guys i am thinking about upgrading from i3 2100 as my mobo died.
so which cpu is better for gaming and future proof i7 3770 or i5 4590
other spec
cooler master g 700w
Sapphire RX 480 Nitro + OC 8Gb

If you get i7 3770 and Z68,Z75 or Z77 mobo you can overclock it for extra 400 Mhz over max turbo speed for each core,that will give you a bit more performance and will for sure last more than i5 4690.
If you can wait a bit more Ryzen is just around corner and some prices that are leaked and i hope retail prices will be around them will make Ryzen pure steal.

i7 is actually way more future proof, as some games already benefit from 8 threads on it, and seeing how the market is moving (all consoles are 8-cores)- i7 is just better. Even more so if you can get Z-series motherboard for it- then it can be overclocked (even non-K version of 3770). As for it being 1 generation older- it does not matter, as performance improvements on Intel chips was minimal, and both are on DDR3 RAM.

well no one sells amd cpu in my country so its hard to get ryzen
