So I've been trying to get better temps with my pc, but I've ran into the issue of not knowing which direction to face the cooler master hyper t4 fan. I can't face it towards my ram or vice versa because it doesn't fit, but I can face it up or down(towards the gpu or top of case). If anyone could answer and give me tips, I would greatly appreciate it!
Here's a pic of how I have it now :
(by the way I'm working on getting a new case for better cable management, I know it's bad, just ignore it.)

Need more info, what case? How many case fans and where u have them installed?
This direction of cooler is the worst for that type of gpu, it will pull too much hot exhaust from gpu, will make cpu cooling worse!
Ideal would be place cooler horizontally (sucking air from the front to the rear fan)

Yes you CAN have the fan on the same side as the RAM.
That fan can slide up a little bit to clear the RAM in slot 1. This will not materially affect the cooling situation.

CPU fan blowing front to back.

What you have will work assuming that your fan is now pulling air through the cooler and exiting out the top of the case.
I think it is better to have the fan on the bottom pushing air through the cooler, exiting out the top of the case.
I assume there is an exit vent on the top of the case.

Usually, it is better to have the fan sending hot air out the back of the case.
If, for some reason, raising the fan a bit as USAFRet suggested, you should be able to fit the fan in a pull orientation on the other side of the cooler.

Yes, I know it's supposed to be that way, but it just won't fit! The little bracket things that secure my cooler down will not fit in between that space, so I'm not sure what to do.

Ok so I was just told by a friend that the way I have it now is fine, but if I want to make it better I can change it to point to the back of the case. I'm probably just going to go by this unless someone tells me otherwise.
