So I was plugging in my new USB HDD and had it plugged into the Usb Port in my PC and when I then plugged it into my power strip (Same one my PC is plugged in)
and then A GINORMOUS SPARK CAME FROM THE POWER STRIP
1 second after that my PC just shuts off
I tried turning it back on but it doesn't work
Oddly enough the motherboard still lights up but nothing else works when I try pressing start on the mother board or powering up through my Case Power Button
Nothing Unplugged everything from my power supply and replugged but still nothing works
I have tried using different outlets and different power chords but nothing is working the motherboard still lights up but not whatsoever booting
Dont know what I should do anything would help

Sounds like your PSU just crapped out. Don't push it, might blow something else if it didn't already. I wouldn't trust a light bulb after a short like that, let alone computer.
