I bought a powercolor HD 7870 on ebay and It worked fine for the first 10 min after I installed the drivers and then I got a grey screen ,which forced me to shut down my pc. When I turned my Pc on again I got a blackscreen right after the windows startup symbol. I then went into safe mode uninstalled the drivers and reinstalled them . It still did not work. I tried several older drivers and with one of them there was not a blackscreen but flickering horizontal lines. Is it dead and can I repair it? I am ready to give you more informations if you need more.

Ebay does allow you to rtn the faulty goods. You paid for a working card not for a corpse. Raise a complaint with the seller through e-bay and pursue it.
This can occur, although I would guess that you're using the recommended drivers from the AMD site (http://support.amd.com/en-us/download/auto-detect-tool)?
What could have occurred was a Windows corruption - have you tried using the system without the GPU attached?

Used card, not working, usually means you got a dead card. What is your power supply brand and model and the rest of the system specs? Did you do a BIOS update on the motherboard? May not help since the card did work for a bit, but it won't hurt to get it updated and try.

I'd return the card, it's 95% sure to be dead unless you have a poor quality power supply, but the video issues sound more like a dead video card than anything wrong with your system.
