Hi all, this is my first ever post on TH, so I'm not exactly sure about the thread I'm posting in but I thought components fitted it the most! Please move if necessary!

Operating System
Windows 10 Home 64-bit
CPU
AMD FX-4350 4 °C
Vishera 32nm Technology
RAM
16.0GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 803MHz (11-11-11-28)
Motherboard
Gigabyte Technology Co. Ltd. 970A-DS3P (CPU 1) 23 °C
Graphics
SAMSUNG (1920x1080@60Hz)
2048MB ATI AMD Radeon R7 200 Series (ATI AIB) 24 °C

I have an AMD FX4350 as you can see with an ATI AMD Radeon R7 200 series. I have a budget of maybe 200 to 400 euro for both. What would be a decent upgrade that would fit the current setup? Try to keep it AMD but if another make is compatible fire ahead.

Thanks in advance,
Conor

Solution
first questionI have for you is what revision of the board do you have in your case, you will have to open it and look on the board for 970A-DS3P(REV.xx)
http://www.cpu-upgrade.com/cgi-bin/SearchMB.pl?MB=970A-DS3P&ACTION=Search shows me 3 revisions and all there have various abilities for upgrades of CPU.

rev. 01 opf motherboards permits upgrade of cpu to FX-8370
so here is the build I propose base on that possibility and GPU upgrade as well

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant

CPU: AMD FX-8370 4.0GHz 8-Core Processor (£170.35 @ BT Shop)
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-970A-DS3P ATX AM3+ Motherboard (Purchased For £0.00)
Memory: Mushkin Essentials 16GB (2 x 8GB)...

now this all depends on your power supply as well, while you are looking for the revision of your motherboard [peek at make and model and Wattage of your power supply) because a better video cards will possibly mean a PSU upgrade as well]
I put a 450w power supply to show the Minimum Wattage this build will need.

Hi thanks for the speedy reply, I opened it and had a look around. Only thing I can find is 970A-DS3P D33006. I googled it and one of the first results was rev.1.
I have an aerocool 500w integrator PSU!
