its almost 9 years old... What will u use this computer for? Forget if you going to play modern games..

I think he or she understands this, since this is their current computer. Not everyone can afford to just run out and spend $500 dollars on a new build. Maybe their looking to be able to run Skyrim or something, which could be done on that CPU. Of course it is difficult to suggest items but how about something that could transfer over to a new MOBO. How about a 1050?

1050 mini, works easily on 300w, doesn't require anything other then PCIe slot and can be used when you upgrade MOBO

1050 for $109

Anything new for this "computer" will be waste of money, try to find a secondhand gpu.

Well i understand that but it still hard to suggest anything, cant come up with something better than secondhand gpu, but if he can get that 9800 for under 20$ then why not.

True, that would make sense to get used or old but a lot of cards from that era seem to need more power, so a 9800 would need maybe 400w and that would be pushing it.

Probably Paladin was on to something but those 720-730 gtx always are way overpriced.

I think 750ti or 1050. The 1050 would both because no external cord is needed.
