hi i m from Malaysia. i would like to ask pro opinion about new pc i will build for my friend. pls suggest what benefit would i get. like to running game at ultra setting from new early game if possible. the total budget right now RM4650 (1050 $). below is spec i want to build:

It's another RM200, just for the CPU. The board is probably more as well. Because of where he lives prices don't work like they do in the USA. Here AMD/Intel brings out new parts at nearly the same cost of the old ones. But elsewhere doesn't usually have that happen. I added up the costs of all the parts he listed and he's already at the max budget, so the going back one gen isn't totally out of line.

Case seems expensive for what you get, might want to get a cheaper one. I dislike buying high wattage bronze PSUs/SMPS out of principle. There is no need for a 700W PSU and the 1050. I'd look for a better quality unit that's more like 500W and gold rated. The GPU is a bit weak for 1080 gaming. Get a cheaper case and a cheaper CPU cooler and get the 1060 or RX480.

I only looked at the first result which was 1250. I see farther down there are other options to buy it, some of which are RM1100ish counting shipping. Considering that's an RM20 difference he might want to look into the cost of the newest type machine. Though considering he's right up against the edge of the budget that RM50+ might set him over. It should at least be considered.

thank for all answer i really happy for it, it help me a lot. so for now i decide to change spec as below:

>LG 24' Class Full HD AH-IPS Gaming Monitor -RM550

so the total is RM4875 (extra rm225 from original budget).
my friend decide to use some cheap keyboard and mouse.

my friend say the max budget is RM4800. if u have another solution for this will be great. PEACE

i read somewhere that rx 480 use more power, is that power supply enough to run this system?

there is barely any performance difference between the 4gb & 8gb models & at 1080p 4gb is enough imo.

the evga 500b has enough power easily ,However its a budget psu with budget quality.
Id prefer if you went with a very good quality unit like the corsair cxm

You could save a further 100RM by swapping to the i5 7500 - its still easily strong enough,

^ not stressing gold on the PSU, the cxm series are bronze too , just they have better efficiency, better quality internals , a 50c temp rating , semi modular & a 5 year warranty .

That bit of extra cash just gets you a much better PSU at the end of the day.
