Changing Motherboard, Files Intact?

The pins on my motherboard bent recently, i managed to bend them back to the point where the PC is working again and the CPU is detected and boots completely fine.

However i have just tried moving my ram for dual channel in my PC, but the PC doesn't output a signal. The motherboard boots and a 55 is shown, this apparently means the CPU or memory can't be detected. I moved the ram back to its original place (single channel) and this works completely fine.
I know that this is a problem due to the bent pins on the motherboard.

What i would like to know, is that if i were to replace the motherboard with the exact same type, and brand (AsRock Z97 Extreme 4) would my files be intact or would i have to reinstall windows?

Thank you for looking at my question and any response you may give.
