Hi, recently i buyed an i7 4790k and a z97 pro4 mobo. im using an old 1333mhz ram stick, so i need new ram. but the z97 pro4 supports up to 1600mhz native and up to 3100OC. Does that mean that if i put a 2400mhz ram stick it will not work? Thanks in advance

A DDR3 2400 stick will run fine in that setup , just set the XMP Profile in the BIOS under DRAM settings.
