Will Displayport to VGA adapter will work for GeForce Gtx 1050?

I bought recently the graphic card from the title and I am wondering if I buy one of this adapters I can make it work:

Why would you go displayport to vga? Does your monitor not have a digital input?

The monitor has only VGA.
