Im kinda new to building and I'm having some problems when it comes to actually getting a signal on any sort of display. I've checked all connections they're in nothing is loose that I can find. Event took the ram out and tested different slots and each stick to make sure and that didn't help.

Here's my build specs:

Dan case A4sfx
MSI gaming pro AC B150i (ITX motherboard)
Intel i5-7500 lga1151
Crucial 16gb (2x8) DDR 4 ram
Silver stone 500w gold PSU
Nvidia zotac GTX 1060 amp edition
Noctua nh-l9i cpu cooler
Sea gate barracuda 1tb 2.5" HDD

I can turn it on and all the fans spin up as does the hard drive. I'm not sure if my GPU has lights on it at all Zotac didn't specify on the box or in its manual.

So far I have tried using both the HDMI port on the motherboard and the GPU with no changes to the result. I checked all the wires and none are broken or loose. I've gone through my motherboard manual and MSI haven't given any sort of Debugging guide what so ever. All I see is 3 LEDs beside the Ram and Power pin connectors.

The first LED to flash for less than a second is the CPU and the second to flash is the DRAM led which stays on for a few seconds then goes off. The VGA LED doesn't light up at all.

I tried first without the GPU installed and thought ok if that doesn't work I'll try with the GPU and got the exact same result. No display signal.

Can anyone help? I'm completely lost and don't know what to do.

Solution
You need a Skylake CPU to update motherboard bios. Do you have a friend with the CPU? If so it may be your only free fix. Else try finding a PC repair shop willing to do the update.
