I'm a relative noob on the PC scene and I'm looking to upgrade from 8GB to 16GB RAM without wasting my money...
I could buy 2x8GB but I'm wondering if I could just buy another 2x4GB to have 4x4GB total as the 2x8 are a bit pricey for me at the moment. I feel like it's not that common to use all 4 slots?
I have an i7-4770K CPU if that helps answer the question. If any more specs are needed I can provide them.
