Hello, I just bought a laptop and I have a problem with the 5 ghz band. My phone and other laptops in the house can all connect to the 5 ghz band except me. When I start the laptop I see my 2.4 ghz band which I am connected too and the 5 ghz band. If I try connect to the 5 ghz one it says Can't connect to this network and it disappears after a few minutes from the list and never appears again, only if i restart the laptop and i'm lucky because it doesn't appear everytime.
I have tried changing the channel, put it on 20,40,80 mhz, and N-only.. The encryption is wpa2 personal Aes, but tried other ones and even no encryption but it doesn't even show in the available network list.
My router is a Asus RT-AC56U, latest firmware, 1 meter away from my laptop. My wireless is Killer Wireless-N 1202.
What can I do to solve this ?

It's the same as in my initial post. When I start the laptop the 5ghz band appears on the botton right at "available connections" but when trying to connect to it it sais " can't connect to this network" and it disappears. I have to disable the network device and enable it for the 5ghz band to appear again. I have tried the drivers from the asus's website, the default drivers you get after installing windows, the latest drivers, even without the killer suite, its the same. I have put the 5ghz band from router on N-only, AC/mixed, auto, changed channels, nothing different. All other devices in my house can connect except me...
