do i need to update my bios to have a newer gpu, By the way my mother board is ASrock g31m-s a 300 watts Psu and im planning to buy a geforce gtx 1050

Solution
Oh yea you are right, it doesnt support an i5, well then its alright then, but if you can in the future, do an upgrade, a new mobo and an i5, then its perfect but that also means reinstalling windows. gta 5 umm i really dont know maybe a minimum of low 40s, you cant really says, depends on the graphic settings, but im damn sure its playable withough any lag at all. anyway good luck, and yea if theres anything else just text me through private text

Actually no, it would simply go in a work right away, but if you want to fix any bugs or something, you can always update the bios to the latest, otherwise no you dont need to update bios, when you update read the instructions carefully and do it, otherwise the system will get damaged
Heres the link anyway to the latest bios of your board

Yup its gonna bottleneck, yea you can play mordern games, but you might not get the full performance, if you can, in a few months get a new cpu it would be better, an i5 should do it, and you will instantly see the performance difference

But does a Asrock g31m-s compatible with a i5 cpu ? , i got into the website of my motherboard and it seems that it is not compatible and i think this are the only compatible cpu's to be install in my motherboard listed by the website, (LGA 775 for Intel® Core™ 2 Extreme / Core™ 2 Quad / Core™ 2 Duo / Pentium® Dual Core / Celeron® Dual Core / Celeron, supporting Penryn Quad Core Yorkfield and Dual Core Wolfdale processors) , or is it compatible with a i5? xD it would be much better if its compatible. And what fps do you think i can get with this combination a pentium dual core and a gtx 1050 playing gta 5 ?
