My Graphics card (MSI GeForce GTX 970) is not working. It lights up when it is in the case, so I assume it is getting power. When I plug my hdmi cord into the graphics card to the monitor the monitor displays a message saying NO CABLE CONNECTED . (I have tried multiple hdmi cords and monitors.) It works fine if I connect the hdmi cable to the motherboard. When I go to Device Manger > Display adapters only Intel HD Graphics 530 comes up. When I went online to download the drivers for the graphics card, it said that I do not have a graphics card at all. (http://www.geforce.com/drivers) In BIOS, (My motherboard is MSI B150 Gaming M3 ATX LGA1151 Motherboard) it say nothing is installed into the graphics card slot.

I am completely lost on what to try next. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Is this a new card ? Did you do a clean uninstall of old drivers using DDU ? I would unplug you pc and let it sit for 20 sec try it again
