ASRock Z97 Anniversary not booting off cd

I have been at this for a hour or so now, I just purchased a i5-4690k Intel processor and a z97 ASRock Anniversary edition motherboard. I got everything hooked up and turned on but I am unable to boot from the CD given to me to install the motherboard BIOS. Any ideas on what I should do to get this working?

It says "Driver disk preparer v1.08 - ASRock Inc, Model name z97 Anniversary
This model is not supported reboot now"

Any help would be appreciate, and thanks in advance !

You mention a CD was given to you.

If you are referring to the driver disk that is included in the motherboard cardboard box, that is just software for the motherboard - drivers and utilities. The same software can be downloaded from the motherboard support page.

Supported Operating System are: OS - Microsoft Windows 10 64-bit / 8.1 32-bit / 8.1 64-bit / 8 32-bit / 8 64-bit / 7 32-bit / 7 64-bit
