Hello people,

I am new to this forum and seeking your help. I just finished building my first PC but too afraid to turn it on because I think it's not hooked up right. Please check out this video and help me.

Thank you so much in advance.

The cable you don't know where to connect is an extension cable for the fan header. You don't need to worry about this.

Just make sure you connected the *already connected* header into the CPU fan header and make sure it isn't connected to the chassis fan header.

Don't worry about that USB cable. If you already have the one coming from the case connected its totally fine.

Don't worry about turning on your PC because there is nothing that can go wrong to break it.

@KR2: Thank you so much man. I really appreciate the help. I will follow your direction to make sure the fan is connected to header.

I will not worry about the USB cable but I would like to know what is that for? and the 2nd cable which is coming out of the corsair head, what is that for?

I ordered the USB 10pin Y Cable already (coming from Hong Kong), once I have that should I connect it or no need to worry about it?

The USB cable coming from your case is for the USB headers on the front of the case. Without that cable connected you wouldn't be able to use them. You won't need another USB cable since there are no other ports on the motherboard. If you were connecting that extension USB cable then I think it would just be for an extension if you need a longer cable. Honestly don't worry about it, as long as the case one is connected you should be just fine!

@KR2: Oh I got that connected already. I am asking about the USB connection on the corsair head. There are 2 wires coming out of the head and there is input for USB and the cable is supplied with it. I was just wondering if thats necessary to connect and what is it for?

@KR2: Actually I understood everything but for me to better explain myself and to re-confirm, I am attaching a picture to tell you exactly what I did.

I connected the Blue circled connector to the motherboard (Blue rectangle)

The Red circled connectors, they are not connected to anything (that's where it's confusing me, does this need to be connected somewhere?

The Green circle is of course the USB as you told me earlier, I am not worried about that anymore.

So what do you say, should I worry about the Red Circled connector?
