Hi, Sorry I can promise I have searched thoroughly through the internet for a solution with no success.

As the title says my POST is taking 30 minutes to load. Then the BIOS and finally Windows.
I had left the house for the whole day today for it to take this long upon starting it up. For the past 3 days it was taking only 2-3 minutes. (WHICH IS STILL UNUSUAL!) So this problem I noticed started 3 days ago. But now today it took 30 minutes. (For this I'm half sold on something is warming up that hasn't had the need to do that before.)

I am currently sold on a CMOS Battery failure, but I want to make sure. The CMOS does look integrated into the motherboard.

Do you guys know of anything I can do in command prompt to see the levels of the battery? Or maybe a utility that can do it?

My Computer is Acer Aspire E5-571P-55TL

Everything is original except 2 4GB sticks of RAM and a 128GB SSD upgrade. \

I have tried using the original RAM and HDD that came with it. I even tried not using any RAM or Hard Drive. No Success.

Thank you.

Update:My laptop shutdown last night while I was sleeping and now 3+ hours have past and still in POST

Solution
Normally, laptops use rechargeable batteries. If its covered in a plastic skin with wires coming out of it, its a rechargeable. If the system date is being maintained, then its probably ok.
Disconnect the SSD only and try to enter BIOS.
Use the power adapter, not the battery.
If that still takes ages, then it might be time to scrap it, but its not that old is it ?

also, if you have an SD card in the slot, remove that too.
