Hi guys. Purchased this from amazon warehouse sale. Happy with it so far but I have a strange reading in GPU-Z when playing Doom. The GPU core clock reaches over 1800MHz. The specs say the boost clock is 1400MHz. I've not overclocked so was wondering why 1800 has been reached. Amazon warehouse sales are not strictly new items so was wondering if this has been overclocked by someone.

that's pretty much how nvidia turbo boost tech work. the gpu clock will go as high as it can as long as temperature allows it. this explain how nvidia turbo boost work on pascal based card:
