I'm a complete computer noob and I know nothing about hardware. I plan to replace my old HP Pavillion P6000 from almost 6 years ago. I replaced a couple of parts but I think it's time to upgrade again.

This is my current PC:

GPU: MSI GT730 2GB DDR3
CPU: Intel Core i3-550 3.2 Ghz
MOBO: MSI 2A9C LGA 1156
RAM: (unspecified) x2 2GB DDR3
PSU: (unsure) EVGA 400W
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 500GB

This is my ideal replacement:

GPU: Zotac Geforce GTX 1050 Mini 2GB GDDR5
CPU: Intel Core i3-6100 3.7 Ghz
MOBO: Gigabyte H110M-DS2 LGA 1151
RAM: Kingston HyperX FURY 4GB 2133MHz DDR4
PSU: (keep the old one)
HDD: (keep the old one)
>In my region, all of these parts cost about $360, my aim is less than $400.

My budget is very limited and I have a very old and weak rig. Would these new parts I picked be okay with each other? What parts do I have to replace/keep? Thanks in advance.

Greetings!

The components you have selected should play really well with each other. I would recommend adding another stick of 4GB of RAM just to ensure you have more headroom for applications and programs, but you can always do this later to save a few bucks at this time.

Thank you for your quick answer!
I was also planning to add another stick, but I'll settle with 4GB RAM for now. I was also planning to get a better HDD/SSD, but I'll discard that for now. Thanks again!

You bet! May it run like a charm for at least 6 years:)
