So, I have a really new Gtx 1060, bought it a month ago and yesterday after starting a game it crashed into a screen full of green lines like this: http://i.imgur.com/guMXp6E.jpg
After this crash my pc wouldn't boot windows 10, so I unplugged the graphic card and plugged it back in, it still wouldn't boot, after switching to windows 8.1 it booted, but everytime I try to install the graphics driver it crashes to the same green lines screen and no changes are made. I don't know what to do more.
After seeing some threads I figured the "graphic card bake" method would work, but I'm not sure.
Ps: Sorry for bad english, I'm not native speaker

Obs1: I already contacted the warranty but I got no response yet
Obs2: I tried Ubuntu already and it won't work either

PC Specs:
-Intel I5-6400 Skylake
-Gtx 1060 6GB
-8GB Ram

It is dead. Fiddling with it is a waste of time. Don't bake it you'll void the warranty.

Contact the manufacturer. Some manufacturers require and RMA through the retailer. Check the warranty and if necessary contact the retailer who sold you the card for an RMA. As you bought it about a month ago. Are you still within the return Window?

As it is the weekend. You likely will not get a response from the manufacturer until Monday. Usually customer support only works Monday through Friday 9AM to 5PM Eastern Standard Time or Pacific Standard Time. Unless you are in outside the US. In which case I assume it is whatever the standard work hours are for your country. If they even have a presence in your country.

If you live in one country...

If you live in one country and purchased the card from another country. The warranty is probably null and void. As they are generally region or country specific.

Depending on where you live. You may have to deal with the retailer. If the manufacturer has no presence in your country. You are likely at the mercy of the importer for any guarantee.

Thank you, I'll not try the "bake" method, I still have the warranty, I'm from Brazil so the warranty will only answer on Monday, the responsible for the warranty is from the same state as I, the only thing I was in doubt was if I should try to bake it but I'm going to wait a response from the warranty.
It was really strange that the graphic card gave up in so little time.
