Do I need to upgrade or change sockets and build new?

It has been a little over 5 years since I built my last PC from scratch, so I have been considering building a new PC. I have been researching the latest tech, but I'm starting to wonder if I really need to do a new build or if I can get by on upgrading primary components. What do you guys think?

Current Build:
Mobo - Gigabyte Z68A-D3H-B3 (LGA 1155)
CPU - Intel i5 2500k 3.30GHz Sandy Bridge
Ram - G.skill F3-12800 DDR3 (12gb)
GPU - Nvidia GTX 560 (1024mb GDDR5)

So basically I was wondering if I can get by with upgrading the CPU, GPU, and adding some more memory, or should I go ahead and do a new build with a new socket? (2011-v3?)

Primary usage is gaming and rendering audio/video.

Cheers!

This is a good build and the CPU should do you just fine. Maybe consider upgrading it if you would like to run 'Triple A' games at High settings. The GPU i think definitely is worth upgrading, I would suggest the 1050 TI since it is a very affordable and also good performing graphics card.
