I want to buy a new 2TB HDD . Uses : mostly games ,apps , photos , movies etc etc etc.
I dont have a lot o f money , and ive noticed this Toshiba HDD https://www.amazon.com/Toshiba-3-5-Inch-SATA3-Drive-DT01ACA200/dp/B009CPDI62 (im not buying from amazon though)
I want it to be silent ( i mean , not turn into an airplane) , to last pretty long (i dont want to lose my data , of course) and yeah , to have decent speeds , which it seems to have .
Should i invest more into the HDD ?

Yeah that looks alright.

Just to reiterate, the Toshiba drive is likely the loudest out of the bunch. The quality is good, arguably better, but they are known to be a bit louder. Whether the specific noises it makes will actually be noticeable or bothersome to you is a personal thing though.

For similar performance, the Seagate drive might be quieter. https://pcpartpicker.com/product/j28H99/seagate-barracuda-3tb-35-7200rpm-internal-hard-drive-st3000dm008

For a bit slower performance (5200rpm drive), the WD Blue will definitely be quieter. https://pcpartpicker.com/product/2Qqbt6/western-digital-internal-hard-drive-wd30ezrz

I would go with a Seagate Barracuda or a WD Blue.

If you want a drive that's fast, quiet, reliable, and cheap...well they don't exist. Fast HDDs are louder, and reliability tends to be directly related to price.
You get what you paid for.

The Toshiba drive should be decent but I think they are known to be a bit on the louder side.

3TB Toshiba?

Assuming it's from the same generation (as in it's not an older outdated product), you can probably expect the same general performance and quality as the 2TB drive.
