Hey guys,
I just replaced some old parts with an ASUS Prime Z270A MOB, An Intel 7700k COU, and 16 gig PNY Anarchy RAM. After putting everything in, my computer won't POST, and I'm not getting any display on my screen at all. My motherboard has a DRAM LED constantly yellow. I've tried each RAM stick separately, but nothing is working. Any advice?

Solution
Yep, I seen more then one thread here, where bent socket pins would cause mobo to not being able to use ram.
EDIT: Your RAM is compatible, so should be no problem here.

Memory Type: DDR4^PC Type: Desktop^Frequency Speed (JEDEC): 2400MHz (PC4-19200)^Latency (CAS): CL15-15-15^Voltage: 1.2V^XMP Support: No^Speed Compatibility: Compatible with 2400MHz, 2133MHz

I just took it to a shop, and they said that a few of the CPU pins in the motherboard were bent, could this be causing the problem?

Even tho the mobo should support that CPU, are the last 4 numbers on the sticker (on the mobo) 0604 or higher?

It needs this BIOS to support that CPU

Someone here the other day had the same mobo and had the I5 7600 CPU.

According to the pics he posted the BIOS on the mobo was 0505. He needed BIOS 0604 for the CPU

So, even if you get a Z270 mobo, it may not have the right BIOS on it, to support the CPU

Actually, it does say 0505 at the end. Could this be a problem with a 7700k?
