Hi i have AN XFX RX480 RS 8GB and i set a custom fan curve using afterburner but when the gpu is at idle and afterburner saiys the fans are at 30% when i look at the gpu the fans are not actually moving. I tried setting it at a locked 30 % just to check but only one fan moves. Its at arround 40% that both fans kick in. Thanks in advance.

Hello,
I dont believe afterburner will work with our XFX Cards. The RS and GTR are non-reference, so they shouldn't be compatible with it. The cards themselves do not have a modifiable fancurve without making a custom bios profile. The cards will remain idle until 65'C is reached, then they will slowly turn on as per the 0-DB technology.

Afterburner should work fine with any brand card. Be sure you have the latest version installed (4.3.0). Unselect the 'auto' setting.

Both fans should be spinning identically unless you are messing with the automatic fan settings or firmware.
