Buy a new motherboard and cpu or wait for new build or amd cpu?

So right now I have a gtx 960 4gb and an athlon x4 860k, but the cpu bottlenecks the 960 pretty hard in a lot of the games I play so I am thinking about just buying a new motherboard and (intel) cpu because all of the fm2+ socket cpus are just as bad as mine. I am currently looking at getting the ASRock H170A-X1 with a Intel Core i5-6500.
Is this a good idea?

If you can wait just 3 more weeks new AMD CPUs will be out and you should then get one of those since leaked prices are just crazy low.
Just hold on a bit more, it will pay off, Intel isnt going anywhere.

I would consider this, except for the fact that if I wanted ryzen I would have to buy new RAM also, increasing the cost even more
