I'm struggling to figure out why I have no sound from my tv when connected via hdmi on my graphics card, and very recently, I now have a red x on my sound icon. When I click it to trouble shoot it says device is not connected properly which it is.
My tv is about 2-3 years old, which runs my PS4 fine, but there is sound running from monitors and a newer tv to try, could it be that my tv is just a little older?

Graphics card: msi Radeon rx480
Motherboard: msi b150 gaming
CPU: intel i3 6100
Ram: 16gb
The tv was set at default but no sound was still coming through
