Hello fellow Tom's members. It's been a while since I've been active on the forums and haven't really been on the up and up with computer hardware lately.

I'm planning a GPU upgrade in preparation for Mass Effect Andromeda. I do not plan to spend more than $250 and want the best performance I can get for that dollar amount. My current system specs can be found in my signature.

I'm probably going to be ordering from Jet.com so I can use their 15% off promo code (max $30 off).

Here are the cards I'm considering so far:

1.MSI RX 480 8GB
Pros: Lowest price with promo $184.30, 8GB of VRAM, lowish power demand.
Cons: Kinda ugly card IMO, lowest raw performance of the three, no crossfire

2.Zotac GTX 1060 6GB
Pros: Low power demand, decent amount of VRAM, price is fairly low at $208.07 with promo.
Cons: No SLI, possibly limited OCing due to the size of the heatsink.

3.Sapphire R9 Fury
Pros: Second best performance, HBM VRAM although only 4GB, possibly could be unlocked but I would need to research this further and crossfire capable.
Cons: Highest power demand, price coming in at 229.03.

4.Zotac GTX 1070
Pros: Best GPU of the four and SLI capable
Cons: price at $336.46 with promo

Here is my conundrum the r9 fury would like require me to upgrade my PSU, adding approximately $100 to the total bill. Using a PSU calculator I'm basically hitting the top end of my current power supply with my current set up. Upgrading the PSU would nearly put me into the price range of a 1070.

I will likely overclock any card that I get regardless of if I need to, that's just the way i am. With all that said, what GPU would you recommend?

I've pretty much talked myself out of the Fury due to the added PSU upgrade cost and hassle, as well as the 1070 just due to the cost.

Also, feel free to suggest other cards from other vendors as well; I have no real preference as to where I order from.

Thanks!

Afterthought, even though I included SLI/Crossfire in the pros and cons it is very unlikely that I would ever go down that route rather than just upgrading to a better single card in the future.

Solution
You'll be fine with your current system if you just plug in the fury, your PSU is top of the line.
The 1070 is also a good option, but it comes down to how much you're willing to spend.

Oops I misspoke earlier, my system specs were actually just in my profile not my signature.

Here are my current system specs for anyone on mobile:
Phanteks Enthoo Luxe Rev 1.0, FX 8320 @ 5.0Ghz, Sabertooth 990fx rev1.0, 4*4Gb
2200Mhz ram, R9 270, Seasonic 660 watt platinum, 1440p 60hz monitor, XSPC
Raystom, Pmp-500 pump 4.2 gpm, micro reservoir, 360mm rad in P/P with
shrouds, 360mm rad P/P, 120mm rad P/P, 2Tb 7200 rpm HDD, 3Tb external backup
drive.

Chugalug: Do you think the Fury+PSU or just the GTX 1070 would be a better choice?

Thank you both for the responses! Ended up getting the R9 Fury from Amazon with a $20 rebate. I plan on undervolting the card and maybe lowering my CPU O/C a bit to crub the power usage and ensure my PSU isn't over stressed.

I couldn't get the Jet coupon code to work which was why I moved over to Amazon. Still think I got a great deal at 240 after rebate.

P.S. Chugalug - I accidently downvoted your answer while scrolling on my phone. My apologies for some reason it would not let me change my vote afterwards. I did select your answer as best since that was the card I ended up purchasing.

Thanks again.
