I got a new hard drive since my old one crashed. So it's showing nothing to booth, I mean it's practically blank so I can I get a new operating system on it.

Solution
Ok yea so when you buy a new hard drive it comes blank. Do you have another computer? It will make things very easy then.
1. Download the media creation tool for the windows you used. If you used windows 10, here:https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10
2. Load the program in the folder. After this, follow the on screen instructions.
3. Once the drive is ready, turn off your computer. Check your motherboard manual to find which key on the keyboard is the boot menu key. On most motherboards that are not oem, it will be the delete key.
4. Once you have found that key, (if it was unplugged) plug your usb back in.
5. Power on your pc, while spamming the boot menu key. Your usb should show up in this list. Go down to it...
What's the question?

You have to install an OS on the new HDD. Simple as that.

If this is a prebuilt computer, you might need to contact the company that built it so you can get installation media.

If this is a custom built, just install Windows the way you installed it originally.

6. The Windows boot menu should load up now. Follow the on screen instructions and get windows installed.
7. Enjoy your functional pc!
