Just built this computer (first time building a PC) and this issue just started to appear. When I leave the computer idle for a couple of hours (not sure how long exactly) and then come back it won't wake up. The fans and lights are all running but it won't wake up no matter how many times I shake the mouse, right/left-click, or press on the keyboard. The only thing I noticed is that the "system power LED" is not on but the "Hard Drive Activity LED" is on. The computer goes back to normal if I just restart it but I don't want that to be something I constantly have to do. This PC is replacing my old desktop which I had running 24/7.

Info about the PC:
Here is the parts list for the build:

The SSD is my Windows 10 boot drive. The HDD is my storage drive. Still have only downloaded the basic essential programs.

Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks.

Solution
make sure the mb has newest bios to rule out a bug. under windows power saving setting make sure to turn off power savings for the ssd. if windows powers the ssd off it can lock up. it ok to power down the data drive for power savings. in the bios make sure mosue and keyboard wake up settings are checked on.

Your computer is probably going into Hibernate. When it goes into hibernate, pressing the keyboard/mouse won't/shouldn't do anything. If you press the power button, it should wake up from hibernate.

Is there a guide for doing this? (mainly the bios stuff) As it is my first time I don't want to mess anything up. Thanks
