I am new to the PC building world and payed a pretty penny for my set up,,,
asus z170-a
intel i5 3.4ghz 7500
Gskill 8gb (x2)
msi gtx 1050ti
evega 750 power supply

i got everything all set up but it seems that i am getting nothing coming out of the mother board. for example my keyboard is not turning on, bios is not coming up and my monitor says there is no signal. But all the fans are turning on and the stock case leds are coming on so i think power is getting to the motherboard but nothing is coming out. Ive tried everything i can think of to get it to work any suggestions ????

It would need a BIOS update for that CPU. Since it's a Kaby Lake

Core i5-7500 (3.4GHz, 4C, L3:6M, Intel HD 600 series, 65W, rev.B0) ALL 3007. This is the latest BIOS

Look at the sticker on the mobo. If the last 4 numbers arent 3007, it needs a BIOS update

Only way you can fix it is: Buy / borrow a CPU the BIOS supports (look at the sticker).

Flash it then put this CPU back in. Or take it to a shop and ask them to do it

Or buy an updated BIOS chip from Ebay. Or some site
