I am starting to have a headache with my internet problem. It just seems i can't fix it whatsoever.
The problem i am having is that my home network(wired/lan) in "Network and Sharing Center" loses access to the internet for 2-5 seconds then starts identifying the network and comes back to normal. These 2-5 seconds are really annoying since i am mostly playing online games, then when this happens i either freeze for those few seconds or i continue going but it moves me to my previous location. I've called ISP they changed 2 modems, they released a perfect signal, checked on the system if it was all running smoothly and even checked lan cables and none of this was a problem. My other PC that is also connected via wired connection doesn't have the same problem. I even switched the cables because i believed that is a problem and i still have a persistent losing of connection and identifying network problem.

Its not like this happens few times a day its something like between 10-30 minutes. I've checked the drivers and the anti virus.. everything is the same like on the other PC but for some reason this one is having trouble with it. Thanks for reading. :)

TL:DR Red X on system tray icon every 10-30 minutes.. checked everything and still have no clue what to do.

Try resetting your network settings. This usually clears out all sorts of unreliable connection issues on an otherwise reliable network.

Open a Command prompt as Administrator (open start menu, type CMD, right click Command Prompt, Run as administrator)
Type "netsh int ip reset c:\reset.log" without quotes
press enter
Type "netsh winsock reset"
press enter

Go into Control Panel > Network and Internet > Network and Sharing Center > Change adapter settings
Right click on each network connection and choose disable

Open start menu type "Device Manager"
Open Device Manager
Expand "Network Adapters"
Right click each adapter and choose "Uninstall"
DO NOT check the box to delete the drive just click OK

Restart your computer

After it has restarted it should see the adapters and reinstall them. Then you can reconnect to your network if it is Wireless or it should automatically connect to a wired network after the adapter has installed.

Open the start menu and type "Internet Options"
Open "Internet options"
Click on the "Advanced" tab
"Restore advanced settings" and "Apply"
click "Reset..." check "Delete personal settings" click "Reset" click "OK"

Note: This will delete any previously stored wireless networks. This will also reset the home page, passwords, forms, &c in Internet Explorer. Possibly Edge too.

if both pc are hard wired and one of them is losing network. with the age of your pc it soulds like the network chipset is over heating and failing from age. cheap fix would be to install a newer pci lan card. once the new card and drivers are in turn off the onboard lan.

Yes i know not cpu heat but everything is cold in the Case cuz of good cooling. I can reinstall it, but i always had a problem while downloading any version of any driver from my motherboard site. It always says that its wrong windows version while it clearly says WIN7. Where do i go to reinstall mb chipset? Do i need a CD or?
