Twonky server "not available"

I've both a Philips Streamium Upnp player and a Samsung smart TV. Twonky Upnp media server via Zyxel NAS326 is readily available to these devices when connecting over WiFi. However neither player can see the Twonky/NAS server when connecting with a wired Ethernet cable to the same router. WAN internet connection is immediately recognized over Ethernet on both devices.

What must be done to allow Twonky to broadcast over an Ethernet connection? Is there a setting in the router that would forbid the Twonkey Upnp server over Ethernet?

If the router is failing here, you would think the NAS box and the files it serves would not be available via Ethernet either? It only seems to be related to Upnp. Other than getting a new modem/router (router is a modem also) is there a way to tell if the failure is hardware related or just a setting within the router?

When you connect a PC with Wired Ethernet - do you see NAS as a media device (not as a file share)? Windows Media Player is good app to test with.

Thank you very much for helping...I'm not real familiar with WMP but this is what I've found:
From wired PC-1 WMP 'Music Library Locations' allows addition of any NAS share folder.
From wired PC-1 WMP 'Media Streaming Option' both Upnp devices and PC-2 WiFi connected PC show up.
From Wifi PC-2 WMP shows NAS music files from shared folders and again shows NAS music files under 'Other Libraries'.

I don't know what is determined by this? Should wired PC-1 show NAS music files twice?
