Wondering if this $850 Gaming PC build would work

I'm a Mac Pro user who makes music for the most part but in recent months I have build a passion for gaming so I want to build a gaming PC. I know how to put everything together more or less but I am worried that I'm missing something and I'd appreciate someone more experienced telling me if there's something that might not work together. I plan on adding another 8GB after when I can.

As mentioned you dont need the cooler. This is current generation kabylake build with better parts arrangement.

Yes this will run fine. Although you don't need a 212 evo for a locked core CPU, i would stick with the stock intel if it has one. You can use that money to get a dual channel 8gb kit (8gb of ram over two sticks) or an SSD for OS. I think in your case an SSD would improve your experience more than ram.
