CPU Makes games lag and slow.

Hi there, I am asking for help as of I don't know what is the problem. I play overwatch all the time, and I get averagely 55-60 fps on low settings. I turned on ''Display performance stats'' setting and it shows me that my GPU uses only ~700 mb of VRAM and it is about 60°C. From what I know my GPU is not going for it's full potential, that's why I think it's the problem with CPU. It plays smoothly on 60 fps but I often experience a lot of FPS drops, sometimes to 35-40. Honestly I don't know the problem as of GPU is not going it's full potential and not overheating.

I have GTX 650 Ti OC boost 2gb
and AMD Athlon II x3 445 cpu

4100 is better but not much, even the FX6300 will give you fps drops in games like CS:GO (but this is a game issue, it's terribly optimised). So just try to get the best one for your money and socket. 6300 would be the best price to performance But you need a good cooler.

You are using a 7 years old Cpu that even on his days was not good.
I think that outside an upgrade you could not expect too much. Well, you could try to overclock the CPU a bit.

I'm playing a lot more different games, yes, i am going to upgrade my cpu in the near future, is FX-4100 good? I can have any cpu to am3+. But I know this cpu can push more out of it, I have played csgo on 150-200 fps on med/high settings with it 2-3 months ago.

I'm not going for any ZEN cpu's because I simply can't afford all that+ it will be easier for me to just get a new pc in that way. I just want to know is FX-4100 good? or what are the best Quad core AMD processors that are not 150+$
