So i am having a hard time trying to find the best parts for a workstation.

It has to run Adobe illustrator alot. And sometimes it will need to render an image of 3d drawings with solidworks.

the budget is 600$.

As for the cpu, Would integraded graphics be fine? or should i go with a cheap cpu + gpu?
For the motherboard, Do i really need a workstation mobo?
Would ecc ram make a difference with these programs?
For storage i will be using 1 120gb ssd + 1tb hdd
any 500w 80plus psu. or is 400w enough?

If possible, give me a list of parts that will be the best for my budget.

You should go with a decent GPU like a 1050/1060.
ECC RAM only matters with server level processes.
Save up a touch and get this.

Thank you for your list, Would like to ask something.

Since it will be a workstation, would a xeon chip not be better? i found a xeon x5650 for 130$ which performs better as a "workstation" shown here: http://cpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Intel-Xeon-X5650-vs-Intel-Core-i5-7500/m355vs3648

and it is cheaper aswell.

For the gpu i thought about a quadro k620. Why would a gaming gpu perform better?

The extra clock speeds are generally pretty helpful in general use, and Xeon motherboards are very expensive, about 150-300+.
ECC RAM is error correcting code RAM, it is not intended for use in stuff like 3D rendering application, more for use with sensitive data etc.
DRAM is a better choice.
Quadro GPUs also cost quite a bit, it comes down to budget here.

Thank you.

i will go with your build, do have some questions still...
Would a dual core cpu with higher single core speed be better? since illustrator won't really use 4 cores.

i can get a quadro k620 for 170$.

Yea i was suprised aswell with the overclock. i will buy a good cooler with it.

the motherboard has 6 ram slots tho, which i have never seen before.

So which ram would you recommend with this board? and how much sticks?

he is a trusted seller, he says it ran perfectly stable with 3x8gb 1600mhz ram.

he used a Cooler-Master Hyper 612S to cool it.

The 1050ti seems to be a decent deal.
You can buy one straight new from a first party retailer for $15 more, but either way get the CPU, mobo and this. The M9i cools better for the same price.
You also don't have a case or storage included in the price.
$225 +
