Help with OC for i7-6700k

Hey! I have a i7-6700k paired with the NZXT Kraken x31 and the Asus Z170 pro gaming, and I was wondering if the Turbo mode that the Z170 provides is safe? It autoclocks the cpu to 4.6GHz but I wonder if my x31 is good enough for that.

The overclock presets generally give the cpu a higher voltage than what is need for the OC at that frequency. It is safe to boot up with that preset, but I would run an aida 64 stress test for an hour and see if any of the cpu cores get hotter than 70c. There is no answer on how hot ity will get. You might have won the silicon lottery and be able to oc further than turbo mode.
