Hey, I browsed a few forums to find a solution but I came up with more questions than before, I've found similar problems but not quite the same and I want to be sure before I start making drastic decisions.

I recently had been having issues with gaming on my pc, when I play more than average demanding games like the Witcher 3, My monitors would turn off after 10-15 minutes of playing. However, if I Alt-Tab out of the game, my screens turn back on and I can even continue playing for 10-15 minutes before they turn off again. I did several stress tests with Furmark and my GPU never went above 65 degrees C. also when gaming it never goes above 60 degrees C.
I let the streess test go on for about 45 minutes and my monitors didn't turn off.

The similar problems to mine all suggest that the graphics card or the PSU are failing.

Another problem I've been having is that my computer won't ever boot from the first time. I have to turn it on and off several times but I never hear a beep coming from the motherboard. I built the PC myself and I'm having the issue since the start.
My computer would run all the fans but nothing would come on the screen. Sometimes it even shuts itself down. I thought it was the RAM at first because I saw a similar case like this in school but it didn't work ( now I use 32GB RAM )
Whenever it does start after 3-6 times trying, it runs completely fine.

Specs: ( nothing is overclocked or messed around with )
CPU: Intel core i5 4460 3.2GHz
GPU: NVIDIA GTX 960 4GB (MSI)
Motherboard: Gigabyte Z97X-Gaming 5
PSU: Corsair CX750M

Sorry for the long post but I tried to give as much info as I could :)

Solution
Hm.
I bet if we open Event Viewer and look around the times this happens we would see an error relating to the display driver failing, but then recovering.

This is, as you have already read, almost always caused by a inadequate power supply.

As you can see from this PSU list - the Corsair CX series are notoriously bad. Fine for green builds, but there isn't really anything green about a gaming build - they need the power when they need it or bad things happen (like your GPU being starved of power and crashing)

Replace the PSU.

Thanks for replying quickly, I was hoping for a PSU problem as that would save me quite a bit more money since I'd most likely upgrade my graphics card if that would've been the problem.
Would replacing the PSU also fix the booting problem?

Maybe? One problem and one solution at a time :) replace the PSU and see, but we don't want to start trying to figure out another problem until we fix the last one.

Hey, sorry for the delay but I wanted to make sure everything was fine.

I swapped the PS and my screens did not fail on me once since then :D
Sadly it didn't fix the problem where I have to boot my pc several times before actually being able to use it.

I am planning on upgrading quite a lot of parts in it in the near future ( basically only keeping my ssd, PS and case )

Well, seems that I have spoken too soon, My screens went black again after playing The Witcher 3 for about 45 minutes. 2 days after I replaced my PSU with a seasonic G series, it was all working fine but now a week later it's happening again. It's delayed though, it used to be after 15-20 min and now it's after 45 min to an hour.
