sata hard drive pins replacement

..Ok my sisters kid messed around with a hard drive.
Still seems to be in good shape except the pins are out of line from the adaptor...should I replace the motherboard? or resod??

You need to find a replacement PCB 2060-771959 and move the U12 ROM chip from the broken patient to the new replacement, if you go with the replacement PCB route, which is likely the best option.

Should you be worried about killing the drive, you could also seek the assistance of a data recovery lab. It shouldn't cost more than $300 USD with a no data not fee guarantee.
