I had to RMA a Corsair HX850 Power supply. It's been discontinued and they are offering me an HX850i for a replacement. Doing a quick search on it, a lot of people have a lot of complaints about it, mostly noise, and having to repeatedly RMA those units as well. I know Corsair isn't a top brand for power supplies, but I also know that the different letters mean different manufacturers. Other than that, I'm trying to find which would be the best replacement. I'm not sure if I can offer to pay the difference in an upgrade, but so far, I'm a little hesitant about accepting the HX850i as a replacement. I live in Canada and it cost me $60 just to RMA this one. I'm trying to avoid having to RMA another, not to mention the downtime of my computer.

They are all first rate lineups , HXi and the two I mentioned , can't go wrong with any of them , I own the RM1000i and a RM850x.
