Looking for some overclocking advice.
Here are my specs:
MOBO: asus M5A99FX Pro R2.0 UEFI Bios
Cpu: AMD FX 8350 4.0 ghz (4.2 turbo)
Ram: 8gb Ripjaws xseries
gpu: evga gtx 970 4gb
psu: evga 500w b 80 bronze
I want to overclock both CPU and GPU. Here's what I've gathered so far, and what my questions are:
- I will need a new psu, Im thinking a 750 watt to be safe. Anyone care to recommend a brand?
- Need more cooling. I was thinking of going with the Hyper 212x. Will this be enough?
That's basically it. If you have any other recommendations I'd love to hear them.
