I'm trying to load Windows 7 onto a Dell Latitude 6430 with a new SSD. When I boot from the Windows 7 Installation DVD, it ask for a driver for the hard drive. I cannot find the driver for it. The SSD is a SanDisk Z410 128 gig. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Solution
If your SSD plugs in using the same SATA interface a standard spinning platter hard disk does, this has nothing to do with your SSD. These devices don't require drivers to be functional.

Did the laptop originally ship with Windows 7 on it, or are you attempting to replace of a newer OS that Dell shipped on the machine?

Any drivers available for supported OS versions can be found through Dell's website.
